Spiritual questions

The diagnosis of a serious or life limiting illness can raise questions about death – and the first question is usually ‘why?’

Giving yourself time to understand and reflect on what gives meaning – in your life, the life of your loved ones or in general – is an important part of dying well.

In this section we reflect on the writings of Fr Ronald Rolheiser – President of the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Texas. He received his doctorate at the University of Louvain, and is a member of the Catholic Theological Society of America, the Canadian Theological Society, and the Religious Studies Association of Alberta. He is a specialist in the fields of spirituality and systematic theology.
